Stunningly beautiful Anglo Nubian and La Mancha kids that carry outstanding genetics have started arriving at the Braveheart Farms marking the start of a new era of our involvement with the breeding of superior meat and dairy goats.
Eighteen kids are the newest addition to the growing herd of dairy goats in the farm, 9 out of the La Manchas and another 9 out of the Anglo Nubians.
Ten of the 18 newborn are buck kids -- 6 La Manchas and 4 Anglo Nubians.
The four Anglo Nubian buck kids have the outstanding buck Kastdemur Showcase as their grandsire while four of the La Mancha buck kids trace their bloodline to their grandsire Kastdemur's Slice of Life which was sold by Kastdemur's Dairy Goats in an auction to Dr. Jeanne Koploy of Elkhorn Ranch for a record price of $9,500 making it the highest priced La Mancha buck ever sold thus far.
Kastdemur's Showcase is an Anglo Nubian buck owned by Kastdemur's Dairy Goats and leased to Dr. Koploy. His dam is GCH Kastdemur's Finesse, a 3* milker.
Kastdemur's Slice of Life is a La Mancha buck whose dam is ADGA National Champion Kastdemur's Slice. Four of the La Mancha buck kids now in the Braveheart Farms are offsprings of Braveheart Slice of Luck, a yearling buck that was acquired from Dr. Koploy.
